Growth.
It’s always uncomfortable.
But not growing, feeling stuck and frustrated, is also uncomfortable and tends to last much longer.
This reminds me of a story Rory Vaden told in his book titled “Take The Stairs”.
Rory grew up in Colorado in the US and noticed a big difference between the behavior of cows and buffalo.
When storms came over the crest of the Rocky Mountains, cows would run AWAY from the storm but they are slow so the storm would catch them and the cows would then be in the storm much longer.
Buffalo were different, when the storm came over the mountains the buffalo would run INTOthe storm thus passing through the storm much quicker.
Do you handle growth opportunities like a cow or a buffalo?
When you move INTO opportunities for growth it’s uncomfortable but you pass through the discomfort faster.
When you run AWAY from growth the discomfort lasts so much longer.
Improving your spoken English is uncomfortable…
…but so is NOT improving your spoken English.
Which discomfort do you choose?
I’m here for you if you’re ready to take on the Buffalo Mentality.
